Cummins Names Additions to Executive Team
Cummins Inc. recently named Amy Adams vice president and general manager of Cummins Emission Solutions and Srikanth Padmanabhan vice president, Heavy Duty MidRange Light Duty, a segment of the engine business.
Cummins recently named Amy Adams vice president and general manager of Cummins Emission Solutions and Srikanth Padmanabhan vice president, Heavy Duty MidRange Light Duty, a segment of the engine business.
Previously, Adams served as the general manager of the global on-highway business for Cummins Emission Solutions since 2011. She joined Cummins in 1995 and held various positions in business development, product management, market management, and distribution management.
"In her role as general manager of the on-highway business in CES, Amy was responsible for a business that experienced tremendous growth as she successfully oversaw the transformation of an on-highway business predominantly in North America to one that grew in Europe, Brazil, Australia, Japan, and Korea," said Anant Talaulicar, vice president and president – Components Group, managing director, Cummins India Area Business Organization. "She has also been instrumental in bringing growth through increasing market share and introducing new product that met quality and cost targets. We are thrilled to have her in this new role."
Prior to Padmanabhan's new role, he was the managing director of Cummins Generator Technologies out of Stamford, England. Over the course of his 23-year career with Cummins, Padmanabhan has held a wide variety of leadership positions within the Company, including Country Manager of Cummins Filtration Mexico, Plant Manager of the then Cummins Filtration's largest plant in Cookeville, Tennessee, and a number of manufacturing management roles within the Cummins Fuel Systems Business in Columbus, Indiana.

His demonstrated ability to work across business units and regional boundaries will serve the Engine business well as we deliver innovative solutions for our customers," said Dave Crompton, president, engine business.
