Maddocks Systems Inc., Langley, B.C., Canada, has announced that CrossCountry Courier of Bismarck, N.D., has selected Maddocks TruckMate for Windows trucking enterprise software for its expedited LTL operation.
CrossCountry Courier operates a fleet of more than 125 route trucks and 50 linehaul power units. Including Bismarck, CrossCountry operates 15 terminals providing overnight LTL delivery throughout North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota.
Truckmate for Windows, is an enterprise-wide client server solution for truckload, LTL, brokerage/logistics, bulk, intermodal and private carriers.
CrossCountry had been using more than 12 separate software packages to manage its operation. With TruckMate, CrossCountry expects an improvement in management of operational data by reducing multiple-entry and accurately sharing information throughout the entire organization.
CCC is expecting to benefit from several features in TruckMate specific to the LTL industry, including visual crossdocking, LTL dispatch planning and management reports.
