Maddocks Systems Inc., Langley, B.C., Canada, announced that CPC Logistics Inc. of Bakersfield, Calif. has selected Maddocks TruckMate for Window

to provide complete transportation management services to client National Gypsum Co.
CPC Logistics Inc. manages a fleet of 60 power units and 80 flatbed trailers for National Gypsum, a manufacturer of wallboard for the construction industry. CPC provides transportation services for National Gypsum plants in California, Arizona and Alabama. National Gypsum is headquartered in Charlotte, N.C.
“In our market segment, there is increasing demand for services like EDI (electronic data transfer), online load tracking, document imaging and mobile communications,” said CPC Logistics VP Robert Boyich. “The TruckMate software will enable us to fully integrate these tools with our operations to enhance the service we deliver to National Gypsum Co.”
CPC also expects the integrated system to streamline the flow of information resulting in greater overall efficiencies. By capturing all operational information in one system the company plans to generate more accurate management reporting and analytical tools for their fleet operation.
