Small & Medium Manufacturers Council meeting Aug. 5 and 6.
The Aug. 5 meeting will be held at the Doubletree Hotel O’Hare Rosemont, in Chicago, Ill., and again on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn, in Dearborn, Mich.
"The issue of counterfeiting of automotive parts has been identified by the council as a prime concern," said Paul Parks, manager of membership for AASA and SMMC coordinator. "The Washington staff will give an update of current and proposed regulatory and legislative actions on counterfeiting, and receive input from our members on the issue."
Both the Chicago and Detroit meetings will address the same agenda, which also will include a healthcare presentation and best cost-saving practices discussion.
