More than 100 employees gathered recently to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Consolidated Metal Products Inc.

From its beginnings in 1945 as a small metalworking company supplying parts for military equipment, the Cincinnati, Ohio-based firm has grown to become one of the largest full-line manufacturers of high-strength U-bolts for vehicular leaf spring and air suspensions.
More than 20 million pieces are produced annually in its 300,000-square-foot manufacturing complex for North American and European manufacturers of light, medium and heavy duty trucks/tractors and independent producers of suspensions and integrated axle/suspension modules for semi-trailers.
