Concrete accessories and forms manufacturer Dayton Superior Corp. has selected The Descartes Systems Group Inc.’s hosted transportation management solution (TMS), Descartes Transportation Manager
, for its supply chain initiative.
Logistics software and services specialist Descartes said Dayton Superior selected Descartes Transportation Manager to support its corporate-wide inbound and outbound transportation planning and execution operations. Descartes Transportation Manager also enables the automatic tendering of loads to carriers, and greatly simplifies the communications with the carrier base.
Dayton Superior said it selected Descartes in part because of its speed to benefits, intuitive operation, complex optimization capabilities and straightforward deployment.
