Comdata Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Ceridian Corp., has acquired Inter-Tax Inc. a leading provider of paperless fuel tax services. The acquisition is expected to result in a comprehensive suite of regulatory compliance solutions
for the ground transportation industry.
Companies will benefit from the following solutions:
• Fuel tax service with best-in-class automated fuel tax reporting.
• Proprietary trip-based technology for carriers to manage out-of-route travel, toll costs, off-road refunds, and fleet performance benchmarking based on the industry's most comprehensive operational database.
• North America's only permitting service with imaging capabilities and nationwide service linked directly to state offices.
• One of the largest networks of professional and compliant pilot car drivers in North America.
• Complete web-based, DOT compliant log management system, which allows carriers to replace all driver logs with scanned images, completely audited and available online within 48 hours of receipt.
