Clean Diesel Technologies has announced that it will license distributors for its ARIS 2000 diesel NOx reduction technology.
The ARIS 2000 is a patented urea injection and control system. NOx reductions of 70% to 90% have been achieved across a broad range of diesel engine sizes and types, according to the company.
The company is offering the mobile ARIS system for licensing, perhaps to catalyst manufacturers or a consortium of engine manufacturers.
Clean Diesel also reports that its August pre-production schedule is already fully booked. It expects to start delivering commercial orders for the ARIS 2000 this fall. Orders have been received from diesel engine manufacturers, says the company, as well as catalyst companies and an industrial user. There are currently 14 systems ordered or installed, including several mobile prototypes.
