Central Illinois Trucks of Normal, Ill., was recognized as Kenworth Customer Support Dealer of the Year for the U.S. and Canada.

The award, which was given out at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Columbus, Ohio, honors those that exemplify outstanding parts and service support.

"We're honored to receive the Kenworth Customer Support Dealer of the Year award," said Erick Miner, president of Central Illinois Trucks, which operates dealerships in Bensenville, Champaign, Joliet, Morton, Normal, Peru, and Springfield, Ill. "This award recognizes the hard work of our employees, who are committed to provide a very high level of customer service every day."

Kenworth recognized others in the customer support category, including Kenworth of South Texas in San Antonio, Texas, and Wallwork Kenworth in Fargo, N.D.

In 2008, Kenworth received two J.D. Power and Associates awards for "Highest in Customer Satisfaction for Over the Road and Vocational Segment Class 8 Trucks."
