Now in its seventh year, the 2011 ALK Transportation Technology Summit is an annual event that brings together senior transportation executives and industry thought leaders to highlight cutting-edge technology trends and to share a strategic vision for opportunity and business success.
This year's event will be held May 3-5 in Princeton, NJ.
The conference, themed Driving Cost Control and Efficiency Through Technology Innovation will provide transportation, logistics and manufacturing companies with valuable guidance on how to increase operational efficiency in this recovering economy. Topics include driver performance and operating cost management, safety and CSA compliance automation, supply chain efficiency, and innovations in wireless technology and in-cab solutions.
ALK Technologies' Founder and Chairman, Dr. Alain Kornhauser, will lead the program. Kornhauser is a Professor of Operations Research and Financial Engineering, as well as the Director of the Transportation Program at Princeton University. He is a pioneer in GPS navigation and routing technology for consumers, mobile professionals and commercial vehicle fleets.
Keynote speaker Paul Will has more than 20 years experience in accounting and finance. He is a certified public accountant and serves on the board of Celadon as well as the American Trucking Associations' National Accounting and Finance Council and the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
