Caterpillar Inc. has received top honors from the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) for the company's 2003 annual report.
Out of more than 1200 annual reports submitted for LACP's 2003 Vision Awards competition, Caterpillar's annual report ranked first overall in the Top 100 Annual Reports of 2003.
The Caterpillar annual report placed first with a perfect score in the category of Most Engaging Annual Report. And within peer-level competition of construction/industrial companies with more than $1 billion in revenues, Caterpillar took highest honors for the best annual report in its class.
