Caterpillar Reorganizes Truck Engine Department
Caterpillar has reorganized its truck engine department and re-named it the Caterpillar On-Highway Engine Division

Caterpillar has reorganized its truck engine department and re-named it the Caterpillar On-Highway Engine Division.
The company says the reorganization has strengthened its management and sales coverage to offer more field support for truck owners and truck dealers.
Caterpillar has appointed two managers, Larry Dicks and Steve Brown, to head up the company's field operations division, which has been split into east and west divisions to bring decision-making closer to the customer. To serve the company's many customer segments, which range from owner-operators to mega fleets, as well as enhance coverage of truck dealer needs, the division also has added a number of new field representative positions.
In addition, Chuck Avery has been appointed to manage the newly formed Bus and Specialty Vehicle Group within the On-Highway Engine Division. This group is dedicated to selling and supporting engines in buses, RVs, fire and emergency trucks, and other specialty vehicles.
"With new technology for meeting ever-stricter emissions regulations on the horizon, it's important to continue providing the hands-on, one-to-one service that users and truck dealers are accustomed to receiving from Cat," said Sarah Anderson, general manager, Caterpillar On-Highway Engine Division.
