As a result of the Pilot-Flying J merger, CAT Scale will now be the truck scale at all Flying J Travel Plaza locations.


CAT Scale construction crews have begun to replace the existing J-Scales. CAT Scale is completely rebuilding each scale at 134 Flying J locations to meet its specifications. The company is also adding CAT Scales at six locations that currently do not have a scale.

"Each scale will be completely rebuilt with new concrete and new equipment; right down to the sign poles," said Delia Moon Meier, senior vice president. "We are excited about the opportunity to provide professional drivers with access to more CAT Scale locations where they can get a guaranteed accurate weight."

CAT Scale expects the rebuild to take about 15 months with locations being completed and opened each month. New openings will be added to CAT Scale's online scale locator, www.catscale.com, as they open.
