CAT Scale Co. has entered into an agreement with Hargett Enterprises Inc., to purchase Interstate Scales from the company. For the time being CAT Scale Co. will operate Interstate Scales intact while scale sites are evaluated.

"We see this as a win-win," says Delia Moon Meier, senior vice president of CAT Scale Co. "Interstate has a fully equipped and fully staffed office, technical center and warehouse in Evansville, Ind. With both offices, we are now only a one-day drive to 70 percent of our scales."
Interstate Scales has 143 truck scale locations throughout the United States at truckstops.
