Network Associates is a trucking consulting company that also offers truckload rating and evaluation software. Among their products are Spot, a PC-based spot-pricing program to evaluate load profitability prior to acceptance; Rover, a load evaluater and Internet search engine for finding acceptable loads on the Web; and BidMan, a bid processing program.
At the carrierdepot.com home page, users go to the box on the right side of the page marked "What's New" and click on the link marked "Go there now!" At the benchmark rating page users are required to log in. Through Nov. 3, they can log in using this identification:

Once on carrierdepot.com's benchmark rating page, users enter origin and delivery points; the system instantly provides a basic per-mile truckload rate. The rates shown are for dry van freight and are based on the North American Truckload Rate Index published by SignPost Solutions of Hudson, Wis.
