The National Cargo Theft Task Force will hold its annual summit on September 15 following the Midwest Cargo Theft Training Event September 13-14 in Addison, Illinois.
The Illinois State Police and the National Insurance Crime Bureau are presenting the fourth annual MWCTU training seminar to be held at Medinah Shriner, 550 N. Shriner Drive in Addison.
Attendance will be $75 per person for law enforcement officers, and $250 per person for industry professionals. The cost includes training materials, continental breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Door prizes will distributed throughout the event.
On Thursday, September 15, 2011 the National Cargo Theft Task Force will also host their annual Summit. The event is free of charge.
This one-day summit is designed to allow law enforcement, trucking and insurance industry representatives, and state and federal officials to discuss strategies and tactics which can be used to combat cargo theft in the United States.
