Canada's Inland Kenworth Named Dealer of Year

Inland Kenworth Ltd. in British Columbia was named 2002 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada during the recent annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting in SeaTac, Wash.

"It's a great privilege to win this honor as Kenworth's top dealer, especially considering the number of outstanding Kenworth dealerships in the U.S. and Canada," said Jim Beiderwieden, chief operating officer of Inland Kenworth British Columbia, Yukon and U.S. locations.
Inland Kenworth was chosen for the honor from among Kenworth's five Gold Award winners for 2002. Other Gold Award winners were: Kenworth Montreal, Montreal, Que.; Colorado Kenworth - Denver, Colo; Tri-State Kenworth, Enfield, Conn.; and Wallwork Kenworth, Fargo, N.D.
"Inland Kenworth is an industry leader in customer service, facilities and technology," said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president.
The Kenworth Dealer of the Year award recognizes the top-performing Kenworth dealership that has excelled in many areas, including customer service and support after the sale. The award is based on Kenworth's Dealer Excellence Standards and Kenworth's Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.
Kenworth's Silver Award winners for 2002 are:
Canada -- Kenworth Quebec (Quebec City, Que.); Central -- Central Illinois Truck (Normal, Springfield, Morton and Peru, Ill.); Texas Kenworth (Dallas, Fort Worth, Waco, Longview, Texarkana and El Paso); Ozark Kenworth (Joplin, Mo., and Springdale, Ark.); Northeast -- Long Island Kenworth (Jamaica, Bronx, Hicksville and Medford, N.Y.); Lower Great Lakes Kenworth (South Bend and La Porte, Ind., and Toledo and Lima, Ohio); Southeast -- Truck Enterprises Inc., (Harrisonburg, Va.); and West -- Bay Area Kenworth (Oakland and Sacramento, Calif.); Inland Kenworth - U.S. (Farmington and Albuquerque, N.M.; Tucson, Ariz; and Montebello, Calif.); Kenworth Sales Co. (Spokane, Wash., Lewiston, Idaho, and Missoula, Mont.); and Trebar Kenworth (Boise, Caldwell, and Jerome, Idaho).
