Michael Campbell, former executive vice president and chief financial officer for Surewest Communications in Roseville, Calif., has been appointed interim CEO for the California Trucking Assn.
Campbell succeeds Joel Anderson who retired from CTA in June.
Campbell was executive vice president/CFO of Surewest from 1994 until his retirement in 2004. Before joining Surewest, he spent 23 years at Ernst & Young in Seattle providing accounting and consulting services; he became a partner in 1984.
Campbell serves on the board of directors of Five Star Bank in Rocklin and the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Foundation. A CPA, Campbell is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, Wash.
