C. W. Carter / Westpac Heavy Duty announced the recipients of it annual “PAC” awards following the fiscal year end. The “PAC” awards are given to venders
who have received high marks on Westpac’s supplier scorecard. Westpac uses the scorecard method to rate all of their suppliers in such categories as total gross sales, fill rate, marketing / promotional assistance, and several others. The 2006 PAC Awards were presented to Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, Gates Corp., Red Dot Corp., Carlisle Motion Control, Permatex and Wix Filtration Products.
”This has been a year of tremendous growth for us, and these six venders have stood above the rest to help us accomplish that growth” said Charles Weston, president & CEO of Westpac Heavy Duty.
Bendix was also presented the Vender of the Year Award. “Bendix is a company that everyone should want to be associated with – outstanding from top to bottom,” Weston said “Westpac Heavy Duty is extremely proud to represent Bendix and sell its products.”
Tom Miller of Miller & Associates was presented Westpac’s Vender Rep of the Year Award. Miller & Associates is a manufacturers rep firm representing such lines as Permatex, Sloan, Ecco and others throughout the West Coast.
