BusTechs Changes Name to Reflect Expanded Transportation Recruiting
BusTechs, a specialty staffing company, has changed its name to TransTechs to recognize its expanded service

Griffith Marks is TransTech's new director of sales.
, which now includes recruiting diesel and engine mechanics for temporary, long-term and permanent jobs with organizations that operate fleets of vehicles such as buses, trains, trucks, heavy equipment, delivery vehicles and ships.
"We were originally founded as BusTechs and built the business by providing mechanics for operators and manufacturers of school and city buses," said David Pearson, president of TransTechs. "However, as the company grew, we recognized an opportunity to provide diesel and engine mechanics to a broad range of transportation vehicles. After considerable research, we made the decision to change the company's name and expand the brand to one that provides engine technicians for all sorts of transportation; hence the name 'TransTechs'."
Headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., TransTechs is actively hiring engine and diesel mechanics and technicians nationwide to work with its partner clients.
"Many clients are discovering the efficiency they can achieve when they are able to get qualified mechanics when they need them, without having to worry about sourcing, compliance, or on-going HR administration," Pearson said. Each mechanic is rigorously screened and is compliant with DOT, FMCSA, TWIC and other required regulations.
In other changes, TransTech has appointed Griffith Marks as director of sales, handling the development and management of the company's sales strategy and building new business among fleet maintenance managers. Marks joins from Randstad North America, where he served as area vice president of sales & operations for the Inhouse Services Division. He also served as national account sales manager for Adminserv, the outsourcing division for Livingston International.
