Integrated Decision Support Corp., Richardson, Texas, announced that Bunch Transport Inc. has selected Expert Fuel from the Integrated’s decision support suite.
Bunch Transport Inc. is a family-owned truckload carrier with 100 power units and is based in North Charleston, S.C.
"We chose Expert Fuel to optimize our fuel network and to improve our opportunities for discounts," said Richard Bundschuh, CEO of Bunch Transport Inc.
Expert Fuel provides an optimal fuel and route plan at the time of dispatch. By taking advantage of the constant variation of fuel price by geographic location and between fuel networks, Expert Fuel creates fuel savings by determining the appropriate fuel locations to utilize and the corresponding amount of fuel to be purchased at each. According to the company, Expert Fuel currently saves existing customers between 4 and 11 cents per gallon, per truck.
