Brenntag will monitor and measure the SCR truck's performance against other trucks in its fleet.

The company is using the truck to service customers in Brenntag's northeast region.
"The decision to use SCR technology was an easy one," said Denny Eisenhofer, vice president of operations, Brenntag Northeast. "In addition to helping the environment, we believe SCR technology will provide significant economic benefits for the company."
The truck was purchased from Horwith Freightliner in Allentown, Pa. Brenntag will monitor and measure the truck's performance against other trucks in its fleet, which includes over 600 tractors.
Brenntag is in the midst of launching a program called Green Truck - Blue Sky to provide public information on the environmental benefits of programs such as SCR and DEF. The web site will go live this quarter.
