Pegasus TransTech Inc., Tampa, Fla., announced that Braun's Express, an LTL carrier based in Hopedale, Mass., has implemented a TRANSFLO document imaging solution

from Pegasus TransTech.
"We've always been interested in reducing the amount of paper we handle in order to become more efficient in everything we do," noted David Normandin, president and owner of Braun's Express. "We also wanted to give our customers the ability to go on our Web site to track their shipments and check PODs. Imaging is a big part of accomplishing these objectives."
Braun's Express operates 86 trucks from four terminals and specializes in carpet transport. Company representatives said the new Pegasus system is enabling the carrier to reduce paper-related costs, accelerate cash flow and improve customer service.
