BorgSolutions has rebranded its flagship fleet maintenance management platform Astral, which has been renamed Borg Fleet.
In conjunction, the company is launching a free version of the new Starter Edition of Borg Fleet. Other new editions include Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited.
"The name change to Borg Fleet reflects the company's new versioning options and represents more accurately BorgSolutions' product offering and understanding of the fleet industry's needs," said Christophe Borg, president and CEO.
With the Starter Edition of the software, customers can manage the maintenance and repair schedules of their fleet on the web. Other features include asset management, work order management, employee management, maintenance scheduling, supplier administration and reports. The system was designed for users with less than 20 units.
"After six successful years of providing the fleet industry with our maintenance management solutions, we decided to offer a free edition to allow small fleet owners and managers the opportunity to realize the cost-savings benefits from our powerful web-based software and help them streamline their operations," Borg said.
"Smaller businesses needed a simple solution to manage a tangible fleet, while larger companies wanted more robust capabilities that were specific to them; thus we created Borg Fleet, a solution to meet the industry's specific needs in our signature web-based format," he said.
The free version is available to commercial and government fleets with no licensing fees required.
