Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week organizers report outstanding progress in product expo booth reservations for the February 2009 event, with more than 53 companies already submitting contracts to exhibit and participate
-- nearly double the numbers from the same time last year.
More than half of the companies have increased their exhibit space over their 2008 booth size. Many companies are taking advantage of special cost-saving arrangements for handling TMC/HDAW 09 booth logistics for the two consecutive events.
HDAW 09 will be held at the Rosen Centre Hotel and the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 16-19, 2009.
"We are very encouraged that the response has been this positive so early in the process, especially during the current economic situation," said Joe McAleese, HDAW 09 co-chairman, "This truly speaks to the strength and the value of this conference to heavy duty suppliers in North America."
HDAW is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy duty aftermarket industry. More than 1,800 managers and executives from 17 countries attended the 2008 conference; including distributors, manufacturers, service providers, educators and media.
HDAW is presented by a joint operating committee comprised of industry leaders from American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Heavy Duty America (HDA), Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), Truck Pride, Truck Frame and Axel Repair Association (TARA) and VIPAR HD Parts.
