The Big Rig Competition is bigger and better than ever at the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals this weekend in Carlisle, PA.

This year, Best of Show Awards have been added for both working and non-working trucks. Also new this year is a special trophy presented by Carlisle Productions co-founder Bill Miller to the rig of his choice.
In addition, trucks will compete in more than 20 classes. They start with conventional tractor-only in various year categories, in sloped hood, cabover and day cab configurations. Also included are tractor-trailer, truck van, truck flatbed, livestock, tanker, company, special interest, dump, and show trucks. Individual awards will also honor best custom paint, best lighting, best stereo, most detailed, best interior and best engine.
The show runs today through Sunday. Big rig trophies will be presented Sunday afternoon.
Sharing the All-Truck Nationals spotlight with the big rigs throughout the weekend will be more than 1,300 minis, 4x4s, sport utilities, classic pickups and antique trucks. There also will be an All-Truck swap meet and manufacturer's exhibit area and a number of other activities.
Also in Pennsylvania this weekend is the Transport for Christ Northeast Region truck rally at the Lebanon Valley Expo Center 2 miles south of Lebanon, PA. Trucks meet at the fairgrounds tomorrow at 11 a.m. for the parade of trucks. Other activities include a benefit auction, a truck roadeo, chicken barbecue and a gospel concert.
