Climate control provider Bergstrom has acquired Modine Manufacturing Company's vehicular HVAC products business in North America, which serves off-highway vehicles, trucks and school buses.
"This product line is a welcome addition to our core business," said Jack Shaffer, president and chief operating officer of Bergstrom Inc. "The acquisition enhances our product offerings in the HVAC market, and strengthens our ability to provide high-quality products to our customers in an efficient and timely manner."
Bergstrom is currently in the process of moving physical assets to its company headquarters in Rockford, Ill. The move will continue for a number of weeks to ensure a seamless assimilation into the existing facility.
"In these times of economic uncertainty within our market, Bergstrom is proud to be able to supply additional jobs locally and keep these jobs in the U.S.," said Dave Rydell, owner of Bergstrom Inc.
