Bentz Transport Products Inc. has acquired a new facility for its operations. The 135,000-square-foot facility, a former tier 1 automotive facility, is located on 18 acres in the Ossian Industrial Park
in Ossian, Ind., 10 miles south of Fort Wayne, Ind.
"The larger facility is a key part of our growth plans over the next several years, particularly in anticipation of the forecasted increase in our market in 2008 and 2009. The location is ideally situated for easy access off of I-469 and I-69," said Keith Bentz, president of Bentz Transport Products.
Bentz will move into its new facility in May 2007 with the facility becoming fully operational by the end of 2007. The facility will feature significantly larger areas for cab assembly, cab trim, truck modification and staff. Bentz is a leader in specialty aftermarket and OEM cab and sleeper assemblies for medium duty, heavy duty and off-highway trucks. Founded in 1993, Bentz is now in its 15th year of operation.
