Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake has announced its 2007 schedule for foundation brake training schools with each course designed for both new and experienced technicians

The Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake Training School includes a one-day classroom curriculum covering foundation brake components, including drum brake and air disc brakes, slack adjusters, brake chambers, shoes and drums, seal installation and bearing adjustments. The school also includes a half day of "hands-on" training with Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake's ASE-certified team.
In addition to classroom lectures, cutaways and visual aids are incorporated to demonstrate the components and related systems in each training class. Most locations feature operational demonstration boards.
There are eight opportunities to enroll in this course:
• Huntington, Ind.: Monday, May 21 beginning at 1 p.m. to Tuesday, May 22 at 5 p.m.; code F-10.
• Huntington, Ind.: Wednesday, May 23 beginning at 1 p.m. to Thursday, May 24 at 5 p.m.; code F-11.
• Huntington, Ind.: Monday, July 9 beginning at 1 p.m. to Tuesday, July 10 at 5 p.m.; code F-16.
• Huntington, Ind.: Wednesday, July 11 beginning at 1 p.m. to Thursday, July 12 at 5 p.m.; code F-17.
• Reno, Nev.: Tuesday, Aug. 28 beginning at 8 a.m. to Wednesday, August 29 at noon; code F-21.
• Reno, Nev.: Thursday, Aug. 30 beginning at 8 a.m. to Friday, August 31 at noon; code F-22.
• Reno, Nev.: Tuesday, Oct. 23 beginning at 8 a.m. to Wednesday, October 24 at noon; code F-30.
• Reno, Nev.: Thursday, Oct. 25 beginning at 8 a.m. to Wednesday, Oct. 26 at noon; code F-31.
The one-and-a-half day Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake School costs $150 per attendee. All course materials are provided. Lunch is included when the class meets for a full day (seven hours or more); however, transportation and lodging are the responsibility of the student. The dress code is casual. Payment is accepted through credit card only and is non-refundable unless cancelled 30 days in advance of the applicable class starting date.
