Dorsey Trailer, an industry pioneer established in 1911, has made the Bendix TABS-6 trailer ABS product and Bendix SR-5 spring brake relay valve standard on all of its trailers, according to Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems.

Dorsey Trailer offers a variety of truck trailers including dry and refrigerated vans, steel and composite flatbeds, open-top and closed-top chip vans and specialty trailers such as fruit haul and furniture drop frame vans.
The Bendix TABS-6 system is a trailer ABS technology specifically designed for a broad range of trailer types and applications. It is compatible with a variety of trailer axle configurations, as well as having the fewest electrical connectors of any other system, the company claims.
The Bendix SR-5 spring brake relay valves provide performance under extreme conditions. The valve's design also enables it to perform when common air-line contaminants are found in the trailer system. Its anti-compounding feature provides increased robustness and improved failure detection by audibly exhausting air through the tractor protection valve at the back of the cab. The heavy-duty aluminum die cast body withstands rigorous vibration and corrosive trailer environments, including heavy ice buildup that can accumulate on valve components and air lines and could fracture the valve body of other designs.
The Bendix SR-5 spring brake relay valve delivers fast, reliable performance under extreme conditions, including the ability to withstand temperatures as low as -50 degrees F. With the push of the trailer park brake release button, the trailer is ready to move before the driver can shift into gear. This speed of release prevents dragging tires and additional strain on the tractor's drive train.
Bendix offers a complete portfolio of trailer products and solutions.
