Tank and trailer manufacturer Beall Corp. has purchased K&H Manufacturing, a builder of dump truck bodies and equipment based in Phoenix, Ariz.
Beall, headquartered in Portland, Ore., sells more than 1,200 tank and construction trailers annually. Beall’s 13 sales and service branches in the western half of the United States will become dealers for K&H products and K&H’s two manufacturing and service facilities in the Phoenix area will be operated as a subsidiary of Beall Corp., according to the firm’s Chairman Jerry E. Beall.
Former K&H President Erik Davis, will become vice president and general manager of the new Beall operation. All K&H personnel will be retained in their current positions.
With five manufacturing facilities, multiple sales and service offices, and more than 500 employees, Beall Corp.’s sales revenue was more than $100 million in 2006. The company is the third-largest manufacturer of bulk and tank trailers in the country and the largest manufacturer of custom tanks. For more information, contact Ron Thompson at ron@t-adfocus.com.
