Baker Equipment of Richmond, Va., recently partnered with Baytech Corp. of Los Altos, Calif., to expand their existing alternative fuel vehicle conversion capabilities.
The partnership will include the ability to convert EPA and CARB-certified CNG fuel injection systems for Chevrolet, GMC, Isuzu and Workhorse Custom Chassis.
Baker and Baytech's collaboration will expand alternative fuel vehicle conversion capacity to the East Coast via Baker's four locations, including Pottstown, Pa.; Richmond, Va.; Raleigh, N.C., and Atlanta. Baytech will train Baker technician's onsite to install all multi-point fuel injection systems in accordance with Baytech, CARB and EPA standards. All Baker locations will provide labor for warranty and service repairs.
Through this partnership Baker can increase its offerings to a growing market and the increased demand for alternative fuel vehicles while promoting independence from foreign oil.
Baker Equipment is a distributor of a variety of truck equipment. It specializes in sales of new and used bucket trucks and vans and remounts and rebuilds equipment to be installed on new chassis.
Baytech is an EPA- and CARB-certified small volume OEM manufacturer, dedicated to serving the CNG and propane fleet markets.
