Rand McNally's Transportation Data Management subsidiary has announced that B.R.Williams Trucking Inc., a third-party logistics provider based in Oxford, Ala., has upgraded to IntelliRoute Deluxe software
to enhance business operations.
B.R. Williams offers a broad range of services including same and next day delivery. The company needed to provide more efficient routing and timely updates to its customers. It selected IntelliRoute Deluxe software for accurate time of arrival estimates based on road construction information, as well as cost-effective routing and mileage for rating. The company integrated the software into its operating system and uses the software's integration paths and Java-based platform to work with McLeod's Loadmaster Enterprise dispatch system.
