Avery Graphics Begins Choice Awards Competition

Avery Dennison Graphics Division, Painesville, Ohio, is now accepting entries for the first-ever Avery Graphics Choice Awards competition and is asking for photos of outstanding uses of Avery Graphics media to compete for prizes in a variety of categories.

Avery Dennison Graphics Division, Painesville, Ohio, is now accepting entries for the first-ever Avery Graphics Choice Awards competition and is asking for photos of outstanding uses of Avery Graphics media to compete for prizes in a variety of categories.

One Grand Prize winner will be awarded a $5,000 travel voucher plus free publicity in his or her local media, a package worth $6,500.
The Avery Graphics 2005 Choice Awards competition is open to printers, converters, sign shops, applicators, advertising agencies and end-users throughout the United States and Canada. All projects must be created between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2005. Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, quality of graphics and novelty of design.
Entries will be reviewed by an independent panel of recognized print and advertising professionals (to be announced). These judges will present one Grand Prize for the Best Overall Entry. In addition, one Gold and one Silver Prize will be awarded in each of the following application categories:
• Vehicle Graphics – buses, cars, trucks, trains, boats, RVs
• Exterior Signage – billboards, buildings, banners, signs
• Interior Signage – museums, trade show signage, floor signage
• Labels – product identification, corporate identity, packaging
• Technical Achievement – difficult or complex applications
