Autocar Establishes Seven Sales Regions

Autocar LLC, Union City, Ind., has established seven sales regions and added several vocational trucking industry veterans to its sales force

Autocar LLC, Union City, Ind., has established seven sales regions and added several vocational trucking industry veterans to its sales force.

The locations of the new regions, which cover both the United States and Canada, are as follows:
Northwest - Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, Northern California, Hawaii, Alberta and British Columbia.
Southwest - Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Nevada and South California.
North Central - North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Manitoba and Saskatchewan
South Central - Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska and Louisiana.
Northeast - Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Ontario and Quebec.
Mid Atlantic - Virginia, Maryland, Washington, DC, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Delaware and Western Pennsylvania.
Gene Parker has joined the company as director of national accounts. Prior to joining Autocar, Parker successfully served in regional sales and national sales management positions for Volvo Trucks North America.
Brad Moore is regional sales manager for Autocar's Southeast region. Moore comes to Autocar from Volvo Trucks North America, where he was a regional sales manager for vocational products and played a key role in new product commercialization.
Jeff Allen, a 27-year veteran of the industry with an extensive background in refuse truck bodies, is regional sales manager for the Southwest region. During his career, he served as director of sales, western region with the McNeilus Companies and as national sales manager for Wittke Waste Equipment.
Gary Foster is the regional sales manager for Autocar's North Central region. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the trucking industry and has held national and regional sales management positions with Rockwell Wabco and TRW as well as product service positions with Cummins Engines and the U.S. Army. He was recently with Western Star where he held both regional and district sales manager positions.
The group announced today joins three existing regional sales managers: Charlie Luper, Southcentral region sales manager, Tom Neitz, Northwest region sales manager, and Mike Murphy, regional sales manager for Autocar's Northwest region.
Autocar LLC was formed in July 2001, when parent company Grand Vehicle Works Holdings, LLC purchased the Autocar name and the Xpeditor truck line from Volvo Trucks North America.
