ATS Specialized Inc. has purchased ShipperPlus LoadBuilder software from Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc., Bloomfield, Conn.
ATS Specialized Inc. is a full truckload flatbed, specialized, heavy haul and dry-van carrier serving the continental United States, Canada and Mexico.
The company currently operates more than 1,000 power units, hauling granite, machinery and other specialized commodities. The company offers freight management, warehousing, consolidation, dedicated rigging, packaging and import/export logistics services.
ShipperPlus LoadBuilder is designed specifically for private fleets and dedicated contract carriers or companies using dedicated contract carriers. ShipperPlus LoadBuilder combines load-building optimization, scheduling and routing decision support for least-cost shipping. Loads can be built and planned later in the cycle, and last-minute changes, additions or deletions are quickly incorporated into the plan, ensuring the most accurate, efficient and profitable shipping plans -- right up to the last minute.
