Next Tuesday, the FMCSA and ATRI will co-host another in a series of national online forums that provide peer-to-peer industry insights on safety technologies. The Jan. 8 webinar, which runs from noon to 1:30 p.m. ET,
will focus on carrier utilization of untethered trailer tracking systems and their potential for enhancing asset management and security in trucking operations.
With the dramatic increase in the use of trailer tracking systems throughout the U.S., it is important to understand the operational impacts and opportunities these systems can provide.
Industry participants in the webinar will hear from Mike Gabbei, chief information officer for Celadon Trucking Services, and Al Hoffer, director of trailer operations for Landstar Systems, on their use of untethered trailer tracking systems.
Motor carrier representatives can simultaneously listen and watch the live FMCSA-sponsored webinar from any location in the U.S. that has Internet and telephone access.
