“Sustainable practices are an emerging focus for trucking companies, “said Chad England, CEO of C.R. England and member of the ATRI Research Advisory Committee. “ATRI’s compendium is a great resource for gaining insight into what many of these practices are as well as the potential costs and benefits associated with them.”
The compendium covers sustainable practices like driver training, idle reduction, speed management, vehicle aerodynamics, tires and engine systems. It is designed to be a centralized resource of information on motor carrier sustainable practices.
It also covers sustainable public sector practices and how they can be applied to the trucking industry on topics like congestion mitigation, research and testing and the use of standards.
