The American Trucking Associations 2008 Management Conference & Exhibition will focus on helping motor carriers prosper in today's bumpy economy.


The 2008 MC&E, to be held in New Orleans Oct. 4-7, will feature an assessment of the economic outlook from top analysts, tips on boosting fleet fuel efficiency, an informative seminar on the upcoming 2010 engine emissions standards as well as educational sessions on new technology, driver recruitment and how to go green profitably.

The event also will be an opportunity to celebrate the 75th anniversary of ATA, which was founded in Washington, D.C., in 1933 with the merger of the American Highway Freight Association and the Federated Truck Associations of America.
