As ArvinMeritor increases its use of advanced technologies to improve the environmental and fuel economy impact on cars and trucks, its Exhaust Systems business has unveiled a new name: Air and Emissions Technologies Group.
The new name better defines the future goals and objectives of this growing business segment and demonstrates the company's commitment to commercializing future emissions technologies, according to the company.
The Air and Emissions Technologies Group has chartered its Research and Innovation (R&I) team to identify new product opportunities inside and outside the automotive markets. The R&I team will develop technically advanced products under categories such as Emissions, Fuel Cell Products, Commercial Vehicle/Diesel Emissions and 42-Volt/ Electronics.
