U.S. Truck Body, Streator, Ill., will become the exclusive provider of moving van bodies for used cab and chassis straight trucks sold by Arrow Truck Sales, Kansas City, Mo.
“In serving Arrow’s national account customers in the moving industry, we have found that there is great demand for used moving body straight trucks, yet there is no consistent outlet to find or purchase this type of equipment,” says Ed Justis, president and CEO of Arrow. With this new agreement, Arrow can outfit late-model trucks with new moving van bodies.
Standard features of the moving bodies will include a 60-inch peak, a double curbside door, a single roadside door, swing-open rear doors, birch plywood lined walls, vertical logistics posts mounted on 24-inch centers, and a finished hardwood floor. Special orders can be built to the customer’s specification, but the emphasis will be on building standard units in 24- and 26-foot lengths that can be kept in inventory for immediate delivery.
Arrow Truck Sales, a member of the Volvo family of companies, has used truck dealerships in 18 cities in the United States and Canada. For more information, visit www.arrowtruck.com.
