Arrow Truck Sales is expanding its dealer network by opening a new store in Minneapolis, which will serve the entire upper Midwest region
. The new store, which launches Oct. 5, will be Arrow's 19th location throughout the U.S. and Canada.
"Even during the recent economic downturn, Arrow has continued to look at new markets and better ways to serve all our customers across the entire U.S. and Canada," said Carl Heikel, Arrow's president and CEO. "We know that at some point the economy will turn around. We are building for the future by continuing our strong marketing efforts and analyzing and implementing new strategic expansion campaigns."
The store will be located at 1300 New Brighton Blvd., just off Interstate 35 West. It will be managed by Chad Fine, who was serving as assistant branch manager at Arrow's Cincinnati, Ohio, location. Before joining Arrow three years ago, Fine spent seven years as a quality manager for General Motors. Scott Taylor will serve as the regional manager for the new location.
"While other companies are drastically reducing marketing and advertising costs, reducing staff or even closing up shop, Arrow understands that this market will change and we must be ready when it does," said Lee Wallace, senior vice president of sales and marketing. "As a result, we will be in a much stronger position than our competitors in the used truck marketplace."
Kansas City, Mo.-based Arrow carries all makes and models of more than 2,000 over-the-road tractors, vocational and specialty vehicles, and trailers.
