The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association has partnered with Summit Safety Group to offer workplace safety and environmental consulting services at a discounted fee structure to APRA members.
Summit Safety Group will also contribute a monthly column for APRA's Global Connection newspaper to help educate readers about safety and pertinent government regulations.
"This new member benefit will help APRA members reduce their burdens for compliance with OSHA, EPA and DOT rules and regulations," APRA President, Bill Gager said. "The articles that will run in our newspaper will also help clarify some of the confusion with many of these regulations."
Services provided by Summit Safety include:
1) Mock OSHA, EPA, or DOT inspections
2) On-site and online employee training to meet regulatory requirements
3) On-site assistance during government inspections
4) Development of written policies and procedures to meet safety, transportation, and environmental requirements
5) Completion of reports and paperwork required by government agencies
"They currently work with a number of APRA members and they can bring that expertise to your business to help satisfy the requirements of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations; and help you to have a safer and more productive workplace," added Gager.
