Americana Publishing announced a new strategy in audio book pricing at participating truck stops, rest stops and fuel stations.
Under Americana's new strategy, the company will offer a three cassette book for $9.99, the same price for which a competitor sells a two cassette book. This pricing strategy will be applied to three and four cassette books. Americana has chosen titles of recognized authors for this special pricing strategy and believes that they will be strong sellers based on audio book market analysis.
Americana Publishing, Albuquerque, N.M., publishes popular novels, textbooks, music and art. The company is also a supplier of multimedia products, including audio books, CD-ROMs, and e-books.
