Alliance Highlights Bumpers with Social Media Campaign
Alliance Truck Parts is running an online contest to highlight its range of customizable bumper options, which include chrome, painted steel and stainless steel options.

Alliance Truck Parts is running an online contest to highlight its range of customizable bumper options, which include chrome, painted steel and stainless steel options for a dozen major truck makes and more than 130 truck models.
The online contest, featured on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #BumperStumper, challenges users to guess the make of a truck based on a photo of just the bumper. Users with correct answers will be entered into a random drawing to win Alliance merchandise.
“Since its launch, the Alliance Truck Parts online bumper configuration tool has been extremely successful, allowing our customers to create custom bumpers for a wide range of truck makes and models,” explains Todd Biggs, director of parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America, LLC. “Through this contest, we’re giving truckers a chance to test their knowledge of bumpers, win some really cool prizes along the way and of course, brag to their friends."
Alliance also is encouraging truckers to upload photos of their own customized bumpers.
The contest is running through Sept. 13, with a new bumper image posted twice a week.
Alliance features a convenient bumper configurator on its website, allowing drivers to select the shape, size and cutouts that best meet their needs. With a couple of clicks, visitors can create a bumper design that perfectly complements their truck. Once the design is complete, they can print it out and to take it for order at any Freightliner, Sterling or Western Star dealer.
