ALK Technologies, Princeton, N.J., has released PC*FuelTax 7.0, what it calls the most comprehensive fuel tax reporting software available.

PC* FuelTax fully automates all aspects of fuel and mileage tax tracking, calculation and reporting for transportation companies, according to ALK.
Among its newest features are trailer reports, enabling companies to keep a record of owned/leased vehicle and trailer specifications, including which jurisdictions they've traveled in. The information included in these reports is essential for jurisdictions requiring individuals/companies to file Property Tax Renditions. Users also have the ability to view all trips and fuel purchases filed under a specific quarter. Additionally, companies can now file weight distance taxes monthly as well as quarterly.
PC*FuelTax calculates fuel and mileage taxes owed, refunds and credits as well as includes online jurisdictional IFTA tax forms and rates. Users are also provided with quarterly product updates ensuring compliance with all jurisdictions' IFTA requirements.
When used in conjunction with ALK's PC*MILER products, the software lets users automatically calculate distances and run routes, ultimately generating state mileage summaries within the online trip sheet and eliminating manual distance entry. If using PC*FuelTax stand-alone, users can generate distances using driver log or trip sheet odometer readings.
PC*FuelTax, a Windows-based application, enables you to import data from fuel management services, fleet management software, and mobile communications systems, such as fuel purchases, equipment information, origin-destination pairs, multi-stop trips, latitude/longitude coordinates, and state mileage summaries.
For more information, visit www.pcmiler.com or call 1-800-377-MILE.
