Mapping and routing technology provider ALK Technologies Inc., Princeton, N.J., has announced that it will team with Inter-Tax Inc., the nation’s largest provider of fuel tax services
, to deliver a series of products and services.
The announcement was made at the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition in San Antonio, Texas.
“With this agreement,” said Dave Scowby, sales director for PC*MILER at ALK, “we are fulfilling our customers’ needs and expanding our business to go beyond ALK’s traditional capabilities. ALK’s mileage, routing and mapping software is already an underlying advantage in ITI’s applications. This agreement is a clear case of two industry leaders joining forces to offer better products and services.”
“Inter-Tax has been using ALK’s mileage software for many years for fuel tax compliance,” stated Tom Rushfeldt, ITI’s managing partner. “This agreement will continue that relationship and strengthen the ties between the two companies. ALK and ITI are both very technically competent companies. Now, as we jointly improve our products and services, we are enhancing areas of both businesses and providing clients with a more effective tool set.”
