Trans-Soft Inc., Scottsdale, Ariz., a software provider for freight forwarding and logistics, announced that Air, Land & Sea Express has implemented Trans-Soft’s TS2000 Plus and TS2000Net freight forwarding software.
Air, Land & Sea, St. Louis, Mo., is a full-service, domestic and international logistics company.
Air, Land & Sea uses Trans-Soft’s TS2000Net to provide instantaneous shipment status on the Internet and the TS2000 Plus to provide the internal productivity enhancements.
“We realized that our traditional manual methods of the past were straining our operations during this dynamic growth period,” said Bob Bratkovic, vice president of sales and marketing at Air, Land & Sea Express. “We also recognized the adverse effect that outdated operational methods could have on our future expansion.”
“One of the most important aspects of freight forwarding is keeping track of freight movement so it is not mishandled,” said David Hockersmith, president of Trans-Soft. “Our software, designed by freight industry experts, was developed with that in mind and provides the logistics solutions that enables real-time access to critical shipment data, which creates greater shipment visibility and reduces user workload. Our innovative, integrated suite of software modules performs a wide variety of multi-office operating and administrative functions for critical supply chain management.”
