36 Truckstops Get TransCore DAT Load and Info Monitors
TransCore Commercial Services, a leading provider of technology-based business tools, has announced an agreement with Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and Fifth Wheel Corp. to add 30 U.S. and six Canadian truckstop locations
TransCore Commercial Services, a leading provider of technology-based business tools, has announced an agreement with Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and Fifth Wheel Corp. to add 30 U.S. and six Canadian truckstop locations
to TransCore's network of DAT Load and Information Monitors.
TransCore is installing DAT Load and Information Monitors in the high-traffic areas of those Love's locations most strategic for its customers, with additional installations in the coming months.
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores and Fifth Wheel Corp. Convenience/Travel Stores provide a variety of services to over-the-road drivers that enhance the efficiency of small fleets, from fuel management to driver communications.
Installation of the monitors will enhance the efficiency of those drivers and the brokers trying to reach them by expanding their access to one the nation's largest freight-matching networks. The Load Monitors will also provide information the drivers need to haul freight more profitably, from weather and road-condition reports to repair services offered by local businesses.
"By accessing TransCore's DAT Load and Information Monitors in many of our locations, professional drivers can fuel up, rest, and find a quality load that will take them home," said Greg Love, president of Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores. "This helps to make Love's even more of a destination for over-the-road drivers."
"Many of our customers haven't previously had access to such an active freight-matching network as TransCore's, and we're excited to be one of the first outlets in Ontario to provide that information on a regular basis," said Glen Campbell, president of Fifth Wheel Corp.
