Artie Crawford, CISSP, CISM, is the director of cybersecurity at the National Motor Freight Traffic Association. A seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity strategy and deep technical expertise in addressing complex cybersecurity challenges, he possesses a thorough understanding of the tools, techniques, procedures, and attack vectors employed by cyber adversaries.

Avery Vise has closely studied the transportation industry for nearly 40 years as an editor, analyst, and researcher, including more than 25 years dedicated specifically to the trucking industry. Currently, he is vice president of trucking for FTR Transportation Intelligence, which specializes in forecasting and data analysis in freight transportation. He serves as FTR’s chief analyst for trucking-related market data and insights concerning truck freight demand, capacity, rates, and regulatory impacts.

Ben graduated from San Diego State University in December 2011 with a B.S. in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. He began his career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car winning multiple awards for exceptional service and sales while working at several locations in the San Diego area. Ben joined the team in 2014 as a Sales Representative for HDT magazine.

Ben Wilkens is the director of cybersecurity at the National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA). He provides expert insights and cybersecurity recommendations to organizations, helping them navigate the constantly evolving landscape of cyber threats. Before joining NMFTA, he was a key executive at a third-generation family-owned trucking and logistics company. There, he focused on the strategic integration of technology to improve efficiency while maintaining cybersecurity best practices.

A 27-year fleet professional, Bernie Kavanagh currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Large Fleet at WEX Inc. He joined the company in 1996 and his career has been a steady progression of increased sales and marketing responsibility. Kavanagh serves on industry related boards and is a frequent speaker at payment industry conferences focusing on fuel trends and technology in the payment space. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey and is an active member of NAFA, AFLA, NCSFA and AALA. Prior to joining WEX, Kavanagh held a number of roles with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Enterprise Fleet Management.

Bill Madden has specialized in business-to-business marketing for more than 25 years. After earning a B.S. in Finance at Florida State University, he became a Program Administrator with Lockheed Martin. Three years later he became a Senior Cost Analyst in Rockwell International's Atlanta offices, then took an ad sales position with the Society of Automotive Engineers, representing Automotive Engineering and Aerospace Engineering magazines in the Southeast.

Cheryl Knight has more than 20 years of editing and writing experience on topics ranging from advanced technology, to automotive fleet management, to business management.
